Can you update the video? Perhaps the most commonly treated nerve pathologies we treat is the sciatic nerve. The nerve roots originates from L4,5 S1,2,3. With PT moving towards autonomy, more and more individuals “YouTube” or “google” physical therapy exercises. This is one of the first videos that came up when I searched. Appreciate the video and exercises… Let’s get the anatomy right!

“comes from L1-L5 nerve roots”….really? better check your anatomy book doc. The sciatic nerve is NOT L1-L5, but rather L4-S3

yeah, anatomy is a little off.. L2-L4 is femoral nerve, L4-S3 is sciatic. Also, don’t forget disc herniation can also have sciatica symptoms and you may want to rule that out before putting a patient into flexion with those stretches. Otherwise, good stretches!

I feel pain from my waist to my leg after stretching exercise, maybe because i overstretch… i can’t sit still without feeling discomfort, it just drives me crazy.. is this Sciatic Nerve Pain? can i relieve the pain with this treatment?
